So a Cryptozoology blog...how's this gonna work exactly?

I want to let everyone know right off the bat that this is not going to be a particularly scientific blog.  I'm not going to be posting a ton of articles or statistics that weigh in on the veracity of this piece of evidence or that.  Unless I feel like it.  Neither is this the kind of blog where skepticism is thrown out the window and I write from the perspective of a dew-eyed believer-for-the-sake-of-believing type.  I appreciate the skeptical approach to evidence because when you've come at it from all the angles you can and it still looks like the real thing-- well, that's pretty tantalizing and gives me that giddy feeling.  As I mentioned earlier though, there is probably not going to be a lot of hard-core science in this blog; more of a good, skeptical once-over.  This isn't about proving to anyone or disproving that this cryptid or that one doesn't exist.  Also, I like the spooky/creepy/scary aspect of cryptids as well as the idea of them as perfectly normal, biological beings so if you're the kind of crypto-enthusiast who doesn't like when people tell scary stories about bigfoot, this probably isn't the blog for you.

What is it then?

This blog is really just a forum for me to spew my thoughts and feelings out into the internet for anyone who cares to read it.  I'm a lifelong lover of monsters both (allegedly) real and fictional.  It goes back to before I can remember.  Supposedly I was always talking about abominable snowmen and bigfoots.  I try, in a casual way, to keep up with crypto news  especially when it's about the ones that really get me going (thunderbirds, the Fouke Monster, Ohio Bigfoot and giant snakes/crocs).  I'm not a researcher, a bigfooter, a doubter or an archivist.  I'm sure there are plenty of blogs out there for those obsessed with details and facts.  This is more about what interests me and how I feel about these mysterious creatures that slither, stomp and shamble their way through the shadowy parts of the world.
